If something a little less active is more your family’s thing, you’ll find that the Dales has plenty of pretty of villages to explore, with lots of easy walks suitable small children and pushchairs. Skipton itself has a stunning medieval castle in it’s town centre – one of the most complete in the UK – along with ten pin bowling and a cinema. Within a short drive we also have a couple farm parks – perfect entertainment for anyone aged one to 101!
There’s also plenty to do a little further afield, with the stunning Bolton Abbey Estate just a short drive away, along with Harewood House which has a brilliant children’s play area and bird garden.
