We have a team of dedicated staff who are highly experienced in arranging funeral receptions for guests who are trying to cope during a very sad time. Choosing to hold an after-funeral reception at the Rendezvous Hotel, rather than at home, can help to alleviate some of the stress. We’ll work closely with you to provide you with support and guidance whilst arranging the reception and on the day of the funeral itself. With this in mind, we have designed our own Funeral Charter which covers all aspects including:
- an experienced member of staff will be on hand to meet and greet your funeral party, with a manager on duty to look after your guests
- we provide a wide range of catering options to suit all requirements and budgets
- we know that it can be difficult to predict exact numbers and so our chefs will be available to provide extra food if required
- we can help you organise any additional details you’d like, such as music, coloured table linen, favourite food dishes or special menus, fresh flowers for the tables
- our spacious hospitality lounge is ideal for use as a meeting point before the funeral service, whilst guests may use our car park to leave their vehicles
