Savouries including roasted vegetable quiche and falafal balls with sweet chilli dip. Skipton Cycle Races 2018
Enjoy Skipton Cycle Races on 11 July
Skipton Cycle Races are one of the highlights of Skipton’s events calendar and this year’s race on 11 July offers an unbeatable chance to watch the spectacle of road cyclists competing on a super-fast 1 km circuit through the town centre.
Featuring a fun race for under 12s, youth racing and an elite men’s race, Skipton Cycle Races have become an incredibly popular fixture in the town’s sporting calendar. Following part of the routes visited by the 2014 Grand Depart and the Tour de Yorkshire, the race circuit starts at the top of the High Street before travelling onto Water Street, Coach Street and Swadford Steet.
Skipton Cycle Races are extremely spectator friendly and thanks to the route’s circuit around the town centre, there are lots of opportunities to get a great view. With a picutre-postcard backdrop of Skipton’s Castle and high street, what better way could there be to enjoy a summer evening?
